I still have absolutely no regrets about this car, 18k miles later. It being someones daily in NYC, leaving it full of scrapes and imperfections, means it’s the most stress free daily I’ve ever had. Even the 4Runner being completely rust, and almost completely dent free stressed me out more. Perfect cars are overrated.

That paint work on the door tho.

C5’s are the best looking Corvettes IMO. Kinda my stretch goal dream sports car. I know  realistically i’ll never have a 911 but if i play my cards right i might be able to get a nice C5. Or maybe i’ll go the other direction and get a BRZ or MR-2

If you hadn’t pointed out the touch-up paint I would have figured it part of the reflection. F or being “rough” it phot ographs well!

Oh, it’s not touch up paint. The second owner that doesn’t exist took it to a body shop to be repainted(just the door)  because the original owner apparently used the door as a stop. That shop decided to use a trainee to repaint the door, so the clear coat went over spots he missed with paint, so it’s the original paint sanded underneath the clear...

I like it a lot, even a year later, which is something I can’t say about my last two.

It being someones daily in NYC, leaving it full of scrapes and imperfections, means it’s the most stress free daily I’ve ever had.

I hear ya on that. I’ve been commuting in my C5 more lately, being slightly nervous about leaving the still-pristine Jaaaaaag in parking lots every day.

Even though my C5 only has 45k miles on it, it’s still 20 years old and has little imperfections that leave me not so worried about having it look perfect.

I think the rear has much more than the front.

I’ve been wanting a yellow motorcycle for a few years s o I could call it “The Banana Hammock”, I think your Vette is perfect for that role.
